Jeff Groleau, a third generation artist, is the owner of Primary Colour Gallery and has over 25 years of experience as a professional artist and picture framer. Jeff credits family genetics for his natural talent for drawing, as both his mother and grandmother were very gifted artists. Jeff’s aunt and sister are are also both very talented and work as professional artists.
Formal study of art and mechanical drawing, along with his natural talent for drawing and painting, have enabled Jeff to pursue his lifelong dreams of working as an artist and owning his own art gallery. Jeff is proud to have created paintings that have been purchased for many corporate and private art collections. His works can be found throughout the United States and Europe. “Walking into the lobby or boardroom of an insurance company, bank or hospital, and seeing your painting hanging on the wall as part of their private collection, is one of the most rewarding and fulfilling aspects of being a professional artist.” Prior to opening Primary Colour Gallery, Jeff gained valuable experience managing a number of other picture framing and fine art businesses. Jeff’s business experience is not limited to the world of art. Jeff’s resume also includes experience in management, project management, and quality assurance, gained while working for over 16 years in the finance industry. Jeff is also a former non-commissioned officer who proudly served in the United States Armed Forces.
